My name is Francisca Gomes I am an International business at the Seinajoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK). I’m working as a marketing manager for Seinajoki Entrepreneurship Society (SeiES) and developing my photography project.
I was born in Portugal on 20th February 2000, after 18 living in Lisbon I decided to purchase my studies in Finland.
Studying abroad provided me a completely new way of learning, a gain of independence and a new taste and concept to see and live the world.
My creativity is blowing up and I’m more interested in exploring it than ever.
Marketing appeared in my life after my passion for photography, nothing seems to make more sense than join my passion with a professional career.
I’ll be able to use my new global mindset to back up arguments, inform my beliefs and steer my future.

Education and be educated is one and the best solution for solve many if not all human issues, wars and problems. Being educated after all doesn’t mean learning all the mathematics formulas, read all the Maya Angelou books. Being educated means much more than that. It means we are willing to learn new subjects, discuss new topics, share knowledge with other, appreciate art, be aware of our community. Afterwards being educated means be provided with a different range of skills which answer 21st century problems as poverty, wars, conflicts.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Until now, I can consider as training the Portugal Social on The Road. In order to know much of the social work carried out in Portugal, it is necessary to go to the field, to the place where the difference is made. The Cooperativa António Sérgio para la Economia Social (CASES), in partnership with Fórum Estudante, gave me the chance to travel through different areas of the country, to meet different institutions of solidarity, among other activities.

Born in Portugal and raised with Angolan bounds my journey has been challenging and unique.
Back to 2016 I started to take pictures of my friends after a while, we get famous in our little town.
Arts became in general my passion, my inspiration and the best way to express all the feeling of this young enthusiastic girl.
Don’t be afraid if something goes wrong, because it will happen, it happened to me, it happened with Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and will happen to you. But guess what? It makes me stronger day after day.
Two months after my birthday I traveled for the first time alone to Finland, this trip meant a lot to me, some reasons I can’t put into words it would never be so real, so true and so special as it I want you to feel.
Challenges are challenges, challenges push you forward, challenges improve your skills, yourself, your mind and your mental health.
