I'm a musician/teacher/artist. I enjoy good talks and laughs, long walks, music, art, poetry, books. Curiosity is the soil on which my life and work grow. My expertise lies in making, performing, improvising and teaching music. I sing and write songs. I explore the experience of life through art, creativity, dreams, philosophy and conversation. I am interested in the way humans relate to their own nature and each other.
I care about the earth and the environment.

In the past I have hitchhiked to Paris, cycled to London and had some pleasant couchsurfing experiences on European city trips.

I'm both a nerdy scientist and creative butterfly. Originally from the Netherlands, but I've lived in Norway and San Diego in the last 8 years. I recently finished my PhD in computer science & immunology, but now taking a break from work to focus on hobbies and traveling. I love crafting, drawing, sewing and baking 🍪🍰. I haven't done couch surfing before but I'm excited to meet some new people and visit new places!
