ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old Chilean girl, crazy about cats, extremly honest sometimes ironic but very friendly. I enjoy everything that seems "Nostalgic" to me, like 90' movies or music, or things that remind me to my childhood. Interacting with foreing people I've realised that I'm crazy about my country and always like to tell people how are thing like in there =). Im also exploring everything that is the Maker culture (can't define myself as a maker yet, but trying to work on it)

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to do as much stuff I can and like, I don't have a clear path or thing that I strongly feel want to do in the future, so I'm just taking experiences, moments, and every stuff that life has to offer, so hopefully one day I'll look back and understand why I made all the choices I did. (Well.. yeah sound weird... but I'm just lost and hope that one day all has sense... and if not... well the ride was fun!). Im also a great fan of The Venus Project (if you know what this is about, then that will tell you a lot about me, if you dont GOOGLE IT! it is worth knowing of this AWESOME)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience in CS was with a guy that just send me an email, we meet and it was great! Then I couchsurfed in Japan and meet fantastic people! Since then, everytime I visit a country I try to meet with locals and they always give me a good time! Now Im looking forward to going back to my countrie and return the favour!

兴趣

I like lomography! (weird/cool analogue cameras). and I'm also trying to learn some Chinese and Japanese I really want to learn more about asian culture! I enjoy riding my bicycle not knowing where I'm going to end up, and geting lost in cities, and recentyl been fascinated with making things, using 3d printing machines, wires, sensors, cables, soldering... and so on.

My favorite music groups are Depeche mode, Radiohead, David Bowie, Placebo, Bjork, Ladytron, Yelle, Daft Punk, Cansai de ser sexy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Empire of the sun... and many many more that I can't think of now... I also enjoy Chilean bands like Denver and Javiera Mena.About tv shows, I LOVE Seinfeld!!! And my "guilty pleasure" is watching Star Trek (the original series... yeah know it's weird jajaja). Some times I watch 90' shows on youtube like Rocko's modern life, clarissa explains it all, pete&pete (was awesome!).And love The big bang theory!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Going arround the cu chi tunnels in Vietnam... the vietnamese soldier hide there douring the war, it was very tiny, dark and scary! But you really get to experience a little part of it... the feeling was... wow.
Living in Singapore for 3 month has been one of the best experiences in my life, from the backround I have (my country) it has been very diferent and culture shocking! like for example going arround alone in the middle of the night knowing that nothing will happen to you... that is imposible from were I come from
Getting to know monks in Myanmar! they are so diferent from what I thought! We went to their monastery for tea and they told us we were the first froreingers there! it was awesome!

I speak a looot of my country! (Good and bad stuff!... weird stuff too) so if you really want to know a bit about chile... just ask me =)
I can also teach a bit of spanish or practice english if you are just learning!
And I must tell you... I cannot cook anything chilean T__T
