About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Connect with all types of people from all kinds of places,
to be authentic and sincere,
to learn as much as possible about everything;
to be the best version of me possible.
PHILOSOPHY
No one else is going to buy that plane ticket for you. It's on you to chase your dreams.
Luckily, the first step is half the journey.
ABOUT ME:
My name is Francisco; I was born in Florida to Latino parents. I graduated high school young, and after a short stint at university, I flew to South America when I was 18 to chase my lifelong dream of travel. I spoke the language, it wasn't super far away, and above all, I felt the calling. After a couple of years of deep growth, genuine experiences, and so much intimate contact with my heart, I went home to be with my family.
Now the time has come for the next chapter in my earth walk, and I'm ecstatic that I'm to cross the world, see the other continents, be exposed to new ideas, get LOST, like, really really lost, learn languages, meet old friends for the first time, and just live; make the most of the time we've got here. I live to laugh, to explore, to meet new people, to push myself, to learn, and ABOVE ALL to be happy (:
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had no shortage of incredible experiences with Couchsurfing.
As all of us here know, the best way to really be immersed in a new culture is by being with locals. What is a country but the people that make it up? A country isn't its capital, it's not its monuments; it's you and me.
"There are no strangers here; only friends you haven't yet met." -William Butler Yeats
Interests
