About Me

Mexican living in the Netherlands since 2017. Recently finished master studies in Agroecology there, and I am currently applying for a PhD position, as well as professional jobs. I define myself as biologist, historian, sportsman and explorer because of my interests, academic backgrounds and career aspirations. I'm sociable, open-minded, disciplined but balanced-extroverted, clean and tidy... eager to discover new places, learn of cultures, and meet people. I passionately love cycling long distances, hiking, landscaping, camping and running.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting hospitable and open-minded people who are eager of knowing outsiders (foreign people); those who like and enjoy chatting with foreigners about cultures, distant places, world politics and history, ideas, businesses, etc.. That is, exchanging stories and experiences of distant journeys, different cultures and languages than theirs and mine, etc.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As traveler, I often ask locals for shelter in return of something I can contribute or help with as gratitude and pay:
Knowledge: Spanish, history, geography, sports, permaculture design, tips for traveling to Mexico and U.S...
Help: cleaning, cooking, fixing a bicycle, car washing, gardening, etc.
