I'm Francisco a chilean guy who moved to Madrid in 2018. After three years living in that beautiful country I decided to quit my job and travel for a year. After this one year trip from California to Chile, I traveled to New York where I find a job staying for seven months. Now I’m back on traveling and exploring for a while, longer than the last one for sure.

More about me, I am a photographer and I love travel photography. I want to get to know different cultures, landscapes, food, people and whatever is out there around the world. I enjoy a lot trekking, outdoor plans and whatever involving nature. Love animals and good people. I like practicing sports, positive, easy going and happy living the life that fills my soul up. I love playing tennis and football. One of my other passions is biking, I love riding my bicycle 💚.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

Because I love meeting people from everywhere, sharing experiences, cultures, practicing and learning languages, having good conversations and listening how others see the world. I’m happy giving a hand to those who are traveling around and get some of their travel experiences sharing with them when I’m not able to. Also, I think there is no a better way of getting to know a place but through a CS host. Back in the days in Chile I hitchhiked around 6000km where I met and spent time with lots of great people, and I loved it, staying at places of people just met on the road was a great experience.

My favorite kind of music are house, classic and reggae. I love SOJA, Bob Marley, Jack Johnson, The Piano Guys, Ludovico Enaudi and others. About movies Interestelar, Shutter Island, Into the Wild, Meet the Fockers, Armageddon, Leonardo Di Caprio, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Robert De Niro, Matthew McConaughey. I'm not a great reader, but I would recommend you “Sidharta” and “The Alquimist”.

A bike trip from Barcelona🇪🇸 to Paris🇫🇷 (the route was around 1400km). Amazing experience! Totally recommended. We’ll see which route will be next (there will be a next one, no doubt 😁)
