ABOUT ME

Software engineer, moved to Switzerland for a master's degree. Simple, outgoing and friendly guy who loves traveling, gaming, reading, series and movies :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet people, their cultures and share experiences! I found out through a couple friends that CS is a great way to meet new people, and I this really caught my attention. Every person has a lot of stories and we can always learn from someone else.

Interests

Since I was a kid I was always into video games, but as I grew older I learned to appreciate beauty in nature, animals, and even the vegetables our parents force us to eat. I know I wouldn't have become a better person without all my friends and connections, so my interests nowadays are: gaming of course, traveling, adventures, movies, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Studying takes a lot of my free time so I don't have much time for books anymore, but old books I liked: JK Rowling, Suzanne Collins, J.R.R Tolkien, Stieg Larsson. I am currently working on some audiobooks, since they are much more convenient while you're commuting to work :]

Movies and Music: pretty much everything! I love from a good comedy, through a romance up to a horror movie. I find cinematography an interesting art, and I am always passionate to observe how much effort a team of people put into a movie (from screenwriting to scene and costume design).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I feel like one of my biggest accomplishments in life is graduating as a software engineer and working hard enough to get a job and settle down in Europe, which is not easy coming from Bolivia. Other than that, many things have made my life amazing and can't wait to share stories with you!

Teach, Learn, Share

Sharing is caring! I can help you with you Spanish if you're struggling with it! Ask away and I will help with anything I can :] I'm always willing to teach in any way I can, and I also intrigued by new cultures or life hacks. Kindness goes a long way!

Countries I’ve Visited
