About Me

Hi there,

My name is Francisco and I'm a 29 year old filmmaker from Argentina.

For the past year I've been living in lovely Dublin, Ireland and before I go home back down south I'm a really big journey across Europe.

I'm a tidy, friendly guy, that loves to meet new people so I can get a proper local feel to the city I'm in.

Food is one of my main passions I go looking for farmers markets all the time, as well as outdoor sports, I try to walk or bike wherever I go, so I can get lost in the cities to discover the perfect secret spots that a guide or a map won't show you.

I would love to have a local guide in every city I go on this journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying in hostels or hotels is wonderful, but at the end, you don't get to know the city like the people that live in it do.

The best part about couchsurfing for me, is the little tips that a host might give you, of what really makes the city special, at least to them.

Meeting someone that lives and experiences the city in a real way, always helps a tourist like me, be less foreign to the streets their walking.

Interests

Food - I love food.
Cocktails, draft beer, whiskey.
Music, of course.
Movies.
Hiking.
Football, as any Argentinian.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film geek - obsessed with Wes Anderson and a die hard Tarantino fan at the same time.

F. Scott Fitzgerald is my god - But I can still teach you a thing or two about south american writers.

Music, any music, all music is always good for the soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I Had my first exchange experience when I was 11, going by myself for a month to Brazil.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn as much as I can from different culture around the world.

I ask a lot of questions hahaha.
