Mi nombre es Francisco, vengo de Argentina y he estado en este mundo por 24 años. Recientemente he recibido el titulo en Sociologia y trabaje por mucho tiempo de camarero en un restaurante. Actualmente estoy viajando por Brazil en busca de experiencias e intentando aprender de nuevas culturas.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Estoy haciendo Couchsurfing porque me parece la manera mas atractiva de conocer los lugares, estableciendo un contacto directo con las personas locales de los sitios que pienso visitar.
I am doing Couchsurfing because it seems the most attractive way to know the places, establishing a direct contact with the local people of the sites that I am going to visit.

Music, Movies, and Books

Me gusta mucho el cine, pero soy un gran entusiasta de todo lo dirigido por Quentin Tarantino, como tambien del cine independiente.
Sobre libros me gusta leer a Saramago, pero tambien de mi pais he seguido mucho la obra de Sabato. Por supuesto que por mis estudios tambien he leido muchos libros de Sociologia.
En cuanto a la musica me gusta mucho el rock de mi pais, y soy un gran fanatico de Los Rolling Stones.

I like cinema a lot, but I am a big enthusiast of everything directed by Quentin Tarantino, as well as independent cinema.
On books I like to read Saramago, but also from my country I have followed Sabato's work a lot. Of course, because of my studies, I have also read many books on Sociology.
As for music I really like the rock of my country, and I'm a big fan of The Rolling Stones.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gracias a mi pasion por viajar, he tenido la posibilidad de visitar sitios increibles como el salar de Uyuni en Bolivia o el Macchu Pichu en Peru. Cuando estuvimos en Cuzco, decimos llegar de la manera menos tradicional al Machu Picchu, y el dia anterior a nuestro arribo a Aguas Dulces (el pueblo sitiado debajo de la antigua ciudad) caminamos por la vias del tren durante 8 horas en un recorrido de 30 kilometros. El camino fue majestuoso porque la via esta construida entre la selva y el rio que corre con una potencia feroz.
Thanks to my passion for traveling, I had the opportunity to visit incredible sites such as the Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia or the Macchu Pichu in Peru. When we were in Cuzco, we decide to arrive in the less traditional way to Machu Picchu, and the day before our arrival in Aguas Dulces (the besieged village below the old city) we walked along the railroad tracks for 8 hours on a journey of 30 Kilometers. The road was majestic because the road is built between the jungle and the river that runs with a fierce power.

Este viaje por Brazil tiene el principal interes de aprender a hablar correctamente el portugues. Sin embargo tambien puedo hablar fluidamente el ingles y el castellano, por lo que podemos intercambiar algunos conocimientos.
This trip through Brazil has the main interest of learning how to speak Portuguese correctly. However I can also speak fluently English and Spanish, so we can exchange some knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Puedo ayudar con la limpieza de la casa como tambien con la cocina. Sin embargo mi mayor aporte es el interes en conocer gente y aprender cosas ajenas a mi propia cultura argentina.
I can help with the cleaning of the house as well as with the kitchen. However my biggest contribution is the interest in meeting people and learning things that are foreign to my own Argentine culture.
