About Me
This is my favorite quote and the one I follow everyday:
“There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.” ― Ernest Hemingway
I'm born and raised in Panama and I've been living in the States for 6 years now. I graduated from Florida State University (Go Noles!) Majored in Marketing/Sales and Music (Voice Performance). I work as an account executive for a software start up company here in Austin. I love my job, they treat me very well. I'm saving up for a house and to record my first solo album with all the songs I've written (crossing fingers)!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Growing up, my parents couldn't afford to let me travel as often. They always installed in me that the world is much bigger than just your inner circle. In high school, we would host exchange students from Australia, Germany, Argentina, and Chile. Through that experience I was able to see the world from their eyes and learn from other world citizens. That is why I decided to continue my path of knowledge and learning from others through Couchsurfing.
First time doing couchsurfing was in Atlanta and it was the best time of my life! Couchsurfing changed my life!
Interests
I love music most of all! Movies, soccer, football, meeting people, film, art, history, cycling, cultures, languages, out door activites, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: The Little Prince, The Life of Pi, Animal Farm, Lord of the Flies, and anything by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. (I love reading poems and short stories too).
Movies: I really enjoy watching movies so I'm very critical. Anything that is considered good or most likely oscar nominated. Oh, and Wes Anderson is my fave director.
Music: ANYTHING and I mean it!
Food: Anything except Indian food. I'm a big foodie.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in a children's choir back in Panama, I taught English to call my choir mates. I also have a Christmas album out! :)
