CURRENT MISSION

I am currently working in The Netherlands after studying a master in sustainable management of food quality in France.

I wish to take advantage of this experience to discover Europe a little bit and hopefully make some friends in the process :)

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a small city named Armenia located in the coffee region on the mountains of Colombia, but I like to think of myself as a citizen of the world. I guess it's probably because of the diversity of blood circulating in my veins: I have white, black and native american roots.

I try to enjoy the small things: every sunset, every journey and every person as much as I can. I really like interesting dicussions about any topic and I do love listening to others and learning from their experiences and backgrounds.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I´ve participated as host and surfer, and it's been an incredible experience with each one of the travelers I've met. It's like knowing other cultures without moving from home or tasting a piece of the real life when you visit a new country.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted travelers from many different countries and surfed a few couches. It's been an amazing experience until now and I keep many memories, smiles and numbers in my contact list :)

Interests

Art, travels, nutrition and food industry. I am also super interested in sociology, politics and psychology.

Something that I really enjoy when I'm traveling is discovering the cities by biking around.

Music, Movies, and Books

Jazz, soul, R&B, pop and open to all music. If I were to be a song, it would probably be something like Coldplay meets Taylor Swift ^^

Favorite books: Rayuela by Julio Cortazar, Cien años de soledad by Garcia-Marquez and everything from Virginia Wolf and Edgar Allan-Poe.

Movies: mostly reallistic stories and drama. Obsessed with crazy directors such as Lars Von Trier, Almodovar and Tarantino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was scout for 9 years so I had the chance to discover incredible parts of South America while getting to know, working with and giving service to locals.

Spanish, french, cooking, latin american literature and culture, latin dancing!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and learning to make new dishes from all over the world. I can teach you cook some delicious Colombian meals (If I can find the ingredients) or some fusion cuisine.
