About Me

Chilean dude. Recently settled in Valencia. 🇨🇱🇪🇸 Willing to meet nice human beings all around the World. 😄

I'm a quite adventurous, open-minded, curious and (sources say) friendly person with a strong interest in discovering new cultures and establishing meaningful bonds with other travelers and locals. I cherish the feeling of freedom that comes with traveling and immersing myself in other cultures, colors, music and traditional cuisine. 🫶

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After years of routine and working between four walls, I've realised that my life needed a bit more of adventure and spirituality, so I've decided to move from Chile and start a journey driven by a desire of embracing the beautiful uncertainty of living abroad. It's not easy, but it's been rather enriching for my soul. 💝

Interests

I'm very fond to learning, in general. I like discovering new hobbies, books (specially latinamerican literature) and learn about other countries' cultures. I'm really not that great at guitar, but I do enjoy playing it, improvising and sometimes creating some tunes.

I'm also a passionate cycling enthusiast :) One of my plans is to embark on an endless adventure only equipped with my bike and a tent. The idea of cycling around charming villages and scenic coastal paths while discovering hidden geographic gems excites me a lot! So, hopefully we will catch in the highway. :))

My ideal life is to live in a camper, making each new place my home and where hikking would be like walking around my own backyard.

Music, Movies, and Books

"Without music, life would be a mistake", some smart dude said. :p Music is one of the biggest pleasures in life. It has been my biggest companion and it will always be. Either be classical, jazz, folk, world-music, tango, pop, rock, electronic, experimental or whatever you can come up with, music helps me evoking lovely moments of my life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Rapa Nui (Easter Island) for +-3 months. Simply loved the culture, food, colors, people and the spirituality of the island. It was an incredible adventure where I had the chance to share with the Rapa Nui people, fish, camp and learn how to dance traditional music.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be very happy to introduce you to the Chilean culture, it's people, food, art, literature and beautiful hidden geographical gems. I'm very proud of my roots. :) So, we can have an interesting conversation about our cultures while sharing some Chilean meal and wine (if I'm able to find one haha). I'm also very into music festivals, museums, beach volleyball and dancing (cumbia and electronic music), so just hit me up!
