About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just moved in with friends and I'm looking forward to do an internship in Berlin this summer.

ABOUT ME

I'm a multimedia journalist. I'm in love with all stuff related to information and communication technologies, audiovisuals and graphic design. While studying I also worked during three years on a digital magazine in which I used to write about culture, artists and arts in general. Throughout this website I got to know many artists and cultural managers from my city and now I'm very involved in the cultural activities of Managua. I currently produce podcasts about arts and culture for an online radio —as a freelancer—. The spare time I plan my future travels, hang out with friends and get to know my country a little bit more.

I'd say I'm an outgoing person. I enjoy hanging out, but most of the time I prefer a small meeting with friends, good music, good food (maybe cooked together), beer or wine, instead of a party full of strangers —strangers are ok but not in huge amounts lol. I'm always willing to camp, hike or spend the night out of the city. I also enjoy big cities and 'city things' from time to time.

PHILOSOPHY

Not intended to be romantic, but these days I've realized that traveling is by far the only meaningful thing you can do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and Couchsurfing has allowed me to meet some great people that I likely wouldn't have otherwise. I truly appreciate when people take the time to meet, or take me into their homes.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm more into songs than albums. However, if I had to choose my favorite albums, those would be kin, BLUE and bounty by iamamiwhoami and 25 by Adele. I'm always trying to catch songs on the street that will remind me of that moment. My Spotify playlists are full of very contradictory —and sometimes weird— tastes. I also like Latin rhythms such as Salsa and Merengue (not bachata, I hate bachata).

When it comes to books what I like the most is Latin American literature.

Animated films are what I enjoy the most (sorry for that).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I slept at the edge of a crater with lava! (It was raining btw)
CS picnic in Paris <3

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to talk about travels, arts, culture and recent history of some countries.

I would be glad to practice my German or learn the basics of Italian, Portuguese or Arabic and teach you Spanish back.

I am very good at silence and contemplation.
