ABOUT ME

I am a university student at UBC in Vancouver. I'm starting my 4th year in September, majoring in Biology. I'm originally from Washington DC, and lived there most of my life. I hope to travel around the world after I graduate! I'm a very outgoing person and I love challenging myself academically and socially. We enjoy conversing with others and ultimately discovering new things!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing in the summer of 2014 and thought it was awesome! My friend and I were able to connect with several individuals who hosted us during our travels. I hope that one day I can give back by hosting other travelers!

I love to play piano! I've been playing since I was about 8 years old and continue to do so. I also read a lot! I love novels, poetry, and short stories. I also love conversing with others about current events. My boyfriend and I enjoy conversation on almost any topic!

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Several years ago when I was about 10 years old I traveled to the Colca Canyon in Peru with my dad and siblings. I remember feeling terrible almost the entire trip due to the altitude. I could barely walk and open my eyes. The morning before we left we all woke up very early and drove to the very top of the canyon. This canyon is known for the Condors that soar around the canyon early in the morning. This has to be one of the most beautiful things I've experienced in my life! The sun rising in the horizon, the sight of the condors flying around and landing close to us; truly majestic!
