I was born in Lima, Peru, where I have lived almost all my life. Only exception has been Argentina and Mexico, as a kid, which makes it feel also like home, and now, living in DC, USA. I came here for work as an economist. My main interests on the field are education and crime. My main interests off it are playing soccer, bars, comedy clubs, video games with friends

I enjoy going to new places. I learn a lot from the customs and dynamics of each city. Some of them make me revalue things back home and some teach me how one can improve them. For similar reasons, I enjoy meeting new people, different people. Those that can give you different views on life or stimulate ones mind with ideas.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I'm doing my first roadtrip around the US (East South) . This time will be part friends, part family and part by myself. For the latter, I'm planning on doing one overnight or just a few hours in some places. For both of those, I would rather do it with someone who lives & knows the city.

So if you can host or join me around (or even just give good advice!) let me know! I'll be happy to meet you or hear from you.

Intereses

I play soccer every week. Now more than back home, which is odd, but something on the will change list.
I now play frisbee with a new group of friends. My first sport with after drinks. Also something to learn from.
I like Economics of Crime. Studies how individual and market incentives and structure can affect crime and what policy can be derived from this.
I like organizing things. To be more specific, I like making people cooperate so that things that should happen, do. I'm still working on this.
I enjoy comedy clubs. Even the free crappy ones. I like having a beer and a laugh in general, but even more if it's going through someone's take on an aspect of life.
