About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting new people. Learning something from each individual
ABOUT ME
I enjoy a good conversation and exchanging ideas. Right now, taking things slower and learning to appreciate the small things is my top priority. I love reading and listening and SHARING music.
I am 24 years-old and I have already collected some very interesting and fulfilling experiences. I try to learn from everything and see the lesson in every situation. I was born and raised in Venezuela, after Highschool I spent a year in Boston, Massachusetts. Then I came back to Venezuela to live in Caracas and since 2014 I am living in Germany, right now based in Berlin for my internship.
Friends and Family are the most important thing to me.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly to join events to go on walking tours, or just getting-to-know-each-other events. Of course, I am also open for future hosting or being hosted, but it isn't the main objective.
Interests
I love reading. Latin-American Literature is perhaps my favorite type of reading, but I also enjoy a good thriller, and even science magazines :P
For a night out, I prefer bars and pubs where you can sit and drink something while talking to friends. Not really into clubbing and all-night-long parties (but I also wouldn't say no, just not every weekend :D)
MUSIC. My favorite band is Arcade Fire. You don't know it? Well, you should!
- culture
- pub crawls
- traveling
- sports
- tennis
- engineering
Music, Movies, and Books
Some bands I listen to:
-Arcade Fire
-Radiohead
-Neutral Milk Hotel
-The XX
-Snow Patrol
-La Vida Boheme (Venezuelans)
-Los Mesoneros (Venezuelans)
-Los Colores (Venezuelans)
Movies:
I watch mostly drama films, some of my favorites:
-Good Will Hunting
-Big Fish
Books:
Latin-American Literature is what I enjoy the most, if you are interested, but you don´t know where to start, I would recommend:
- The Truce, Mario Benedetti
which is actually not so deep-down-hard-to-read literature. If you want to go directly to a classic novel then for sure One hundred years of Solitude by our genius García Márquez
Some Philosophy has also given me a very different perspective about life, I would definitely recommend:
- On the shortness of life by Seneca and
- Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
Excellent works for those with busy minds.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
You will for sure hear some interesting stories and experiences from me. I have collected some nice memories that I am always happy to share.
One single amazing thing? Hard to find a specific one. I can tell you I went on the tallest roller coaster in the world, although I think it is not the tallest anymore. Here's the link to it:

But that is just a "cool" thing I've done. Something amazing is, I would say, moving to a new place, learning from other cultures, falling in love, going to a one of your favorite band's concert, leaving your comfort zone at least for a little bit, and that sort of things ;)
