Overview
About Me
I'm a serious and respectful guy, easy to talk to about any subject you want (including politics and religion!). I can seem shy at the beginning but I really enjoy talking about things I find interesting (and if I'm sending you a request it means I found your profile interesting anyway). I'm a very independent traveler but I think that the best way of getting to know a place is through your hosts' friends, so I'd love to hang out.
I'm currently based in Bogota, where I was born and raised, so I can show a great many deal of hidden gems in my city.
I like dogs, books, bicycles, videogames and watching TV series, specifically in that order. I've probably seen more movies than I can count and I'm generally knowledgeable about pop culture (not to say that I'm a massive geek).
I've lived in a few different countries while I was studying but I want to live in many many more, so any suggestions are more than welcome!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've surfed in China and Europe and I can definitely say it was the best way to get to know the city, no matter what kind of host I ran into.
I also use CS to find events in the cities where I've traveled or lived. I'm a huge fan of language exchanges because I think it's one of the best ways to improve your skills and they've helped me a lot when I was learning German.

Music, Movies, and Books
The list would be endless, but I think classic and cult movies should be enough to describe my favorite type of movies. About music, I'm pretty open and I like everything from Heavy Metal to Indie Rock to Classic Salsa. I love books, any type of books, but my favorites are Fantasy, Sci-Fi and 20th century classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lots, but I cherish particularly the time when I saw a sunset in the Amazon River in one of my first solo trips. Solo travelling in general is amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm very good at researching things, scholarly things. I know a thing or two about computers. I can also teach you Spanish or German, or how to open a banana from the other side (It's actually easier). I will bring you a small but meaningful gift.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, facts, coffee or anything I have in my pocket.
