About Me

Aloha,

I`m Francisco and I come from Leiria, Portugal,
At age 17, I moved to Lisbon to study. I did a small internship in Berlin, went on Erasmus to Budapest, came back to Lisbon, worked for a year, and now, I`m in Rotterdam, after studying in Tallinn, Estonia, and doing an internship in Ioannina, Greece, having found home in several different corners on this different continent of ours.

At the moment, I am heading back to Europe, overland, after managing a hostel in Pai, Thailand. Taking the chance to crowdfund for asylum seekers. Trying out Instagram @ BackHome.FS. and crowdfunding at GoFundMe.Com/BackHomeOverland.
Soon enough, I should have a home back in Europe, but I am a nomad at the moment. If you believe I have any useful skills, I am more than happy to exchange them for accommodation.

I...I have a tendency to sing a lot. Hope that`s okay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Keen on meeting new people.
I`m happy to share my world and I am happy to know others.

Interests

People. People are fun.

Music, Movies, and Books

Unavoidable Lightness of Being, by Kundera, is a nice book, but there are many others.

For movies, let me recommend The Wackness.

And if you are feeling like you need to relax, try the Brazilian music genre called Bossa Nova. Your problems are very likely to disappear.
Lately, I`ve been listening to Alice Phoebe Lou, Anderson .Paak, King Krule, Velvet Underground, Black Keys, Courtney Barnett. Give them a shot! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can eat a lot of chocolate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to say cheers in many languages, I`m keen on learning yours, and I am happy to share with you the stories attached to the words.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Meals, sweets, alcohol, and hugs.

Countries I’ve Lived In

Estonia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Portugal, Thailand
