ABOUT ME

We are two students from Montreal that travel a lot and try to see new places! We are easy-going, open minded. We do not like genereal questions like "all about you".

We are a funny couple, with various interests. While we accomodate well, we still have a few opposite interests, wich can be perfect for our hosts : Francis likes to go out late while Mathilde likes to go to sleep early. Mathilde likes to dance, while Francis prefers to drink.

PHILOSOPHY

Mathilde wants to change the world (did we say her mother is a hippie?) with international law.

Francis prefers to sit down and read Barthes or Michel Foucault.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I (Francis) already hosted with my roomates a few people from CS last year. We oftenly host friends from Quebec or Gatineau, so our couch isn't always available. This summer, we want to see the other aspect of this project while traveling in Morocco, Spain and France! We hope to meet amazing people and to discover their cities.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The few experiences we had with CouchSurfing were positive : we met good people and had a great time.

Mathilde is making a documentary about the Recuperadas in Argentina (autogestion shops).

Francis is trying to find someting amazing to do for this kind of question.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can teach French (or a litte bit of English or Spanish)! Or law (wich can surprisingly be funny). Or Tarot marseillais (a french card game). Or triman (an alcoholic game with dice).

Francis wants to learn guitar skills (I'm a very bad guitar player). Mathilde wants to learn Arabic and to improve her Spanish.
