Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like all kinds of music and love to attend musical performances, especially musical theater.
Reading: I read a book everyday even if it is 2 pages.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve had the privilege of doing some amazing things in my life, many of which have been made possible by my passion for travel and connecting with people. One of the most memorable experiences was guiding a group of travelers to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. Witnessing the awe and triumph on their faces as they reached the top was incredibly rewarding. I've also led several cultural tours, where I helped visitors discover hidden gems in Moshi, from local markets to remote villages, sharing the rich history and traditions of my community.
Teach, Learn, Share
"Teach, learn, share" is a philosophy that I live by every day. As a tour guide, I strive to teach visitors about the beauty, culture, and history of Moshi and its surroundings. It’s important to me to pass on the knowledge I’ve gained over the years, whether it's about the wildlife, local customs, or the incredible landscape of Mount Kilimanjaro.
At the same time, I’m always eager to learn from others. Meeting people from different backgrounds and hearing their stories broadens my perspective, making me more open-minded and inspired to see the world through their eyes.
Lastly, sharing is at the heart of everything I do. Whether it’s sharing my love for my hometown, offering advice to travelers, or exchanging stories with new friends, I believe that sharing brings us closer together, creating connections that last long after the journey ends.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a host, I can share much more than just a place to stay. First, I offer a unique and personal experience of Moshi, guiding visitors to hidden gems and sharing the rich culture, traditions, and history of the area. I can also introduce guests to local food, whether it’s a homemade meal or a visit to a nearby market to taste the freshest produce.
Beyond that, I love sharing stories and insights about life in Tanzania, providing travelers with a deeper understanding of the people, culture, and environment. I can also share my knowledge of Mount Kilimanjaro, offering tips on hiking, trekking, or simply appreciating the stunning landscape.
Above all, I offer my warmth and hospitality, making sure that visitors feel welcomed and comfortable during their stay. For me, hosting is about building lasting connections and creating unforgettable experiences together.
