Overview
About Me
Born and raised in Lima, Perú.
I live with my wife in the Barranco District, sharing our apartment with one cute dog and 2 beautiful cats.
Ursula is a lawyer and I'm an forestry engineer (retired now, too much bureaucracy), but what we really enjoy doing is learning, we are eternal students, mostly taking photography, clown and drama lessons and free online courses on different topics (from logistics to sociology, anything in between). I also like to paint a little, I truly believe art can transform everything, for better. Ursula also likes sports, she was a qualified soccer player at the University team and still plays today.
We started traveling together in 2010, at first it was just for a few days and only for vacation, then weeks and this last time we took a 3-month break from home to travel around Europe.
We're both interested in politics, mainly related with education, gender and social equality.
We like quiet nights at home watching movies or talking, sharing a bottle of wine or maybe going out for dinner and a few drinks (any opportunity to have a nice and fulfilling conversation). Personally, I'm not a big fan of parties, I wake up early so I really like (and need) to go to sleep early too. But still, I never say no to a good meal with the right company, no matter what time it is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me CS is all about trust and giving a hand to one another, that's what I like about it and that's why I'm here.
So far I've hosted just twice, but I'm looking forward to continue with my couchsurfing experience, as a host and a as traveler. We want to start hosting regularly soon, so we can give back a little of the wonderful things we received from our amazing hosts this past months.
Regardless, right now is not easy for us to receive guests since we just returned from this 3-month trip around many cointries and we’re still adjusting again to live in Lima (not a friendly city by the way). We’re not done with the moving yet, boxes here and there, new job, etc... but still, we’re gonna try sometimes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my home for the first time to live alone in a city in the Amazon Rainforest and I a tayed there for 3 years. And after that I became a clown...and that was even more amazing.
Ursula left her promising law career to work as a photographer on a a cruise for 6 months, traveling the world.
