but i could give try summing up my life into this:
Jazzy, Crazy, Artful, Impulsive, Intimate, Surreal

which is why I love Math, Jazz, Calligraphy, and anything that has to do with patterns, design, and seeming contradictions and vagueness.

Что привело меня на Couchsurfing

first of all, i am not one of those brag-about-my-travels kind of jerks, who have been to maybe a million countries and experienced this-and-that-and-what-else.

my friend just suggested Couchsurfing to me back in 2008, and the impulsive me hopped in! I am here to open up my mind to the truth, erase my prejudice, truly live in places, and shatter my own preconception of the world and people. HAHAHAHA in retrospect, maybe this was actually one of the reasons why I quit my religion altogether LOL (and never looked back!)

i have been to 2 countries only (okay), so far:

1. India (2011). A very impulsive, crazy, worthwhile backpacking experience. Experienced great hospitality from some 4 hosts, mostly in New Delhi, Rajasthan, and Rishikesh. My first trip abroad (I was alredy 22 then! LOL). Stayed for 40 days (I planned it like that to pull off a Moses-like exodus LOL)

2. Saudi Arabia (2013-2014). For work (as Math Teacher), nothing much. Stayed for 9 months (didn't even finish my contract LOL). Didn't enjoy at all, But still, experience is experience. HAHA!

So, where to next?
Maybe job opportunities will tell. Coz I wanna be a Travelling Teacher!

i really don't have anything in mind in particular, but I am not a fan of classics LOL. I adore "children's" books (The Little Prince; Shel Silverstein books). Okay to give you an idea, I like Murakami, Coelho, Ray Bradbury, Mark Haddon, Neil Gaiman, Carl Sagan,...

FILM
I gravitate towards subtle sci-fi (not too action-y and overly-adorned with graphics!), dark, philosophical, and vague romance types -- whether disjointly or mixed into one LOL. Like Nolan movies, Stephen King adaptations, et al. and now let me be specific: I just love Stranger Than Fiction, (500) Days of Summer, Eternal Sunshine..., Artificial Intelligence, and The Last Holiday, for I think they impacted my life in great ways.

I can teach Math (LOL, or teach to appreciate, at least!), Calligraphy, Yoga, and Sax/Flute/Clarinet to my hosts and guests. After all, we are all both teachers and students at some points in our lives, in one way or another. This is how we grow.
