CURRENT MISSION :

Cross the Americas on foot, departure from Quebec and arrival at Ushuaia in a 3 year long journey. I use to travel without a phone so, I can't be ultra reactive.

ABBOUT ME :

I live in this beautiful and unspoiled region which is called Haute-Loire, in the center of France. I work in the industry, I pamper big and complex machines and they serve me well. I write a bit as an amateur and I like to immerse myself places and people to enrich my pen. I am always motivated for a board games, share interesting movies and music, talk about something I know and listen to what I do not know ...

PHILOSOPHY :

I am someone simple with simple needs. A maxim that would correspond to me would be: "to understand rather than to judge".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Normally I like camping alone in the middle of nowhere. it's exhilarating but I admit that meeting someone in the heat of his home give heart and appeasement to the journey.

Book : I love Sci-fi : Herbert, K. Dick but i have a crush for the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy by Douglas Adams.

Music : I was raised with good old Rock : Led Zepplin, Hendrix, Deep Purple and cie. I listen a lot of electro too : Fatboy slime, We are Castor (my favorite) , Chemical Brothers, Savant. (I listen Funk and disco too but shush it's a secret)

Movies : I prefer Film genre and B movie, like Bong Joon-ho (barking dog, the host), Quentin Dupieux (Rubber, Réalité), Lynch, Carpenter and many more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I came across an improvised electro music concert by exploring the catacombs of Paris.
I spent a night under the stars in a Mustang cabriolet (shelby look) while I was hitchhiking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like listening to the stories of people I meet, romanced or rough, share their points of view. It helps me to open my mind and it's my raw material to write. I'm not a skilled writer but hey, I like that.
I can write you a poem if i'm inspired (in french, sadly my english is clearly not good enough at the moment).
I know how to do didgeridoo with only my voice.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A corner on the floor and a sink is more than enough for my basic needs. But I would be happy to discuss with you and, if you have the opportunity of course, to accompany you in your routine.
