Overview
About Me
I'm mostly a quiet guy but it doesn't mean I'm not interested in getting to know people. A beer or two can change this dynamic for the best!
I'm open minded, polite and calm. Not a complainer, will definitely do my best to accommodate you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the idea behind hosting travelers and getting to know them in return. It's the perfect way for travelers to get to know the locals and vice versa, to end up making great encounters which will make for good stories. Of course, from a practical point of view, it makes traveling more accessible to people who otherwise couldn't afford it. It finally promotes a spirit of sharing and giving, which can be applied to so many things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Not as much of a cinema connoisseur (read enthusiast) as I'd like to be.
Music: Classical music and lots of very random stuff that inspired me at some point in my life.
Books: I have a hard time listing my favorites as I haven't read much literature so far, but here are a few books that caught my attention to some extent;
Enchiridion of Epictetus (Epictetus), Nichomachean Ethics (Aristotle), Candide ou l'optimisme (Voltaire), The Human Condition (Hannah Arendt), The Crisis in Culture (Hannah Arendt), Homo Sacer (Giorgio Agamben), Le Petit Prince (Antoine de St-Exupéry), Comment devenir un monstre (Jean Barbe), Putain (Nelly Arcan), Les plus belles filles lisent du Asimov (Simon Charles), Corps d'atelier (Geneviève Amyot)
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can definitely talk philosophy if you're into that!
I can chop vegetables any way you like and can show you what I know on how to use a chef's knife, as well as a few cooking tips.
I can also teach you basic French as it is my first language.
