CURRENT MISSION

I like to travel, I work hard for years in order to travel for years. I started a 3 years'travel since May 2012. I want to learn more about cultures of visited countries, to improve my knowledge.

ABOUT ME

My friends describe me as a person who loves to seize moments when I am doing things, also when I am traveling. I am hospitable, friendly, positive thinking and ready to help people. I like new experiences, I do not like so much routine. I love drinking a cafe, seated at a table, and looking around trying to understand people.

PHILOSOPHY

Seize the moment : if I can do today, let's do it right now.
Right now, as I am traveling, the most important thing is for me is the journey and not the destination. From my trips, I remenber more people I met than landscapes.

I can not accommodate persons now because I am traveling since May 2012, but on my way back, I will do it because it is so nice to have persons all other the world to speak to.

Interests

I like to do outdoors sport like trekking, kayaking, canyoneering, bycycling, not as to be the first but to enjoy the moment, friends I am with, the Nature.
When I am traveling, I like to spent time on museums, movies theaters, roaming around, discovering new cultures ...

Movies : yes but not the commercial ones.
Music : all kind except heavy metal, I am too old, smile.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

From this trip :
- In Alaska, I met persons walking on the moraine, the path was 1.5 feet wide, of a glacier in McCarthy, it was great.
- I was hitchhiking on the Dempster highway to Inuvik from Dawson city, not prepared to hike, food for only one day. Some hours later, I was hiking with the driver who gave me a ride, for a 3 days hike to the Tombstone National Park. We share everything we had, and it was a beautiful hike with great fall colors on trees.
- I was looking Bald Eagles in Haines on trees and few minutes after, I was chased by a grizzly, it lasted 2 or 3 minutes, my heart was beating so quickly. It ended nicely, he went back to the river.
My previous trips :
- Sailing from Puerto Vallarta to French Polynesia, an 3 months experience
- Climbing a part of the Everest from Tinggri to Advanced Base camp and a bit higher.

I have made some friends for life.
