ABOUT ME

We (Francois and Isabelle) are a happy couple who love traveling, making new friends, surfing, cooking, listening to jazz, diving and hiking. We are both French and engineers.
We have lived in Santa Cruz, California for the last 6 years, but now we are on the move. We just spent 2.5 months in Antarctica, at McMurdo station, and we are gradually making our way up north.

For now we are participating by spreading the word and by donating to CouchSurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We consider ourselves very unexperienced couchsurfers, and are still in the learning process.
So far we have only surfed couches, it was really unique and great moments.
We are looking forward to be able to host

Música, películas y libros

Planet Earth is a wonderful BBC TV series, that just blows our mind

And we are looking forward to seeing the next BBC series called Frozen Planet, to see Francois and the Antarctic ROV we worked on ;)

We love jazz music, we volunteered at our local jazz club in the US, so we were lucky enough to attend a lot of great live music (Marsalis, Roy Hargrove, Jason Moran, Ruth Brown, Diane Reeves ...)

Isabelle has walked on a crocodile in Costa Rica, not intentionally though (worst fright ever) !

Francois has done the southernmost polar bear plunge

They both dove in Antarctica, best diving in the world :)

Enseña, aprende, comparte

We love cooking so we love cooking for people, and learn new recipes.
We are interested in traveling and have done a bit of it ourselves, so we are always eager to share good travel stories and tips.
