Hey everyone, my name is francois, i'm from Brussels Belgium, I am a thai massage therapist and I live in the beautiful osa peninsula.
Long time ago I studied tourism, and I started and owned a hostel in Costa Rica called utopia tica, that I had to close down because of corona virus.
I have a daugther that lives most of the time with me and our 2 Belgian shepherd dogs.
I love topics such as human right or what we can do to make this wolrd more respectful ( to the earth and to ourselves)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I believe that every time i share my culture and i learn about a new person and his culture it makes me a better human.
i host when ever my accomodation allows it. I always check where i'm travelling if i can couchsurfer rather than stay in a hostel (even tho i love the atmospher of hostels).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
My most memorable experience while being hosted was to go to a psytrans rave party in the mountains around Panama city with my couch surfer Said, and his friends Fanny and Pulum.
It was the second nigth of my trip, I was fully jetlag, and I danced until 8 am... That was 12 years ago, and to this day we are still close friends and have seen each other various times.

i like to learn and discover others cultures/people.
I love big hike/trek in the forests.
Rock climbing.
Daily yoga routine.
Love giving as well as receiving thai massage.
I really enjoy been in the nature and have the opporutnity to make a fire and have a nice conversation around it.
But if i'm in a city i like to enjoy it with it's inhabitants, especially live music and good organic vegan restaurants.

I love Ken follet's book the pillars of the earth.
I read every year the little prince which each time gives me new life lessons.
