About Me

In 2012 I took advantage of several synchronized breaks to hit the road. I worked in France for 3 month surrounded by mountains and an astounding nature. I met some nomads who worked during the summer and travelled the world during winter. They really inspired me. I took some time to come back to Belgium by bike making detours and visiting friends. I discovered Couchsurfing, my first experience was unreal. Being hosted by someone I had only exchanged a few messages and who ask her neighbour to let me in (as she was not at home when I came). And it continued pretty well, many other great meetings during my six month trip in India and Nepal. And again in 2014 for 6 month in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand.

Graduated in social working I worked in different socio-cultural projects in Belgium : youth house, neighborhood work, public welfare center. In 2009 I trained in organic farming and took part in an urban agriculture project in Brussels (vegetable neighborhoods, integration through gardening, cultivation and sale).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Gandruk, Nepal mountain area, I joined a group a villagers to a very special event. Every other year the walk deep in the forest to collect wild honey. I met them on the way to the cliff and they proposed me to joined them. It was a long walk, I had some leeches, was bitten by bees, we had no food but it is still one of my best souvenir.

3000 km across Laos and Cambodia by hitch-hiking to get to an empty beach. We stayed there 6 days in a tent. At night we swam in the sea, surrounded by glowing plankton.
