About Me

Musician
World Traveler
Translator to be
Occasional English Teacher
Photographer
Lover of chocolate & coffee enthusiast

Ok that’s not enough. I’m a 26-year-old Argentinian traveler who’s also a musician and an amateur photographer. Yes. I travel with my guitar.
I’ve been playing guitar since I was 10 years old, and that was it. Even though I don’t play for a living music is still a big part of my life.
I’m also about to become an English-Spanish translator. Languages are another big part of my life. There’s nothing like being able to communicate with people everywhere you go without interference. You get to learn A LOT.
It’s hard to talk about traveling without sounding cliche but everything they say is true.
I started traveling in 2014 when I moved to the US to work as an au pair and I stayed there for two years. During that time I met my girlfriend with whom I’m traveling now. She was also an au pair in the US.
I also had the chance to visit other countries like Canada, Mexico and Germany, and now I’m sure I’ll never be able to stop this strong feeling of eagerness to explore new places.
Now it’s Europe’s turn to host me and I’m very excited to see what it has for me. I think Couchsurfing is the best place to find with I’m looking for. If you can’t host me I’m still up for hanging out!
If you have read this far, thank you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is an amazing and unique way to get to know people and places.
You don't get to know a place completely until you know its people.
There is nothing like sharing thoughts, experiences, and stories with people from a different culture.
There is always much to say, and there is always a lot to listen to.
It is incredible the way we can connect with people nowadays. Everyone is just one click away, and I will not take that for granted!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite bands are Queen and The Beatles.
I listen to a lot of brit pop. I also love English and American folk music.

I can't pick a favorite movie cause I'm watching movies constantly and I think movies ( just like music and books) depend on your mood.
Some of the movies I can think of now are "Whiplash", "Her", "Forrest Gump", "pulp fiction", "saving private Ryan", "inglorious basterds" "A Clockwork Orange"
Of course I love the old classics like "Back to the future", "Rocky" and all those movies you can watch on a Sunday afternoon.
I am also a horror movie fan. I love classics like "A nightmare on Elm Street" or "The exorcist". I don't know why but I enjoy getting the crap scared out of me. A LOT. I don't get scared easily though.
(Of course I love Stephen King but I’m not a fan of what they do with his stories on the big screen)

My favorite novels are
Stephen King's IT.
A Clockwork Orange.
Lord of the flies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This is the part where I go like “I went skydiving with flying sharks in Antártica in winter. Naked.”
Well, I’m sorry to let you down but I’m too scared to do that.
However...

I went on a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon.
I saw Roger Federer play at the 2014 US Open.
I saw Brian May playing Bohemian Rhapsody right in front of my eyes... twice. If that’s not amazing I don’t know what is.

But it actually depends on what you consider to be “amazing”.
To me, it is amazing that I worked as a live-in babysitter for two years and got out alive.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play an instrument.
If you already know, then let's jam!

I can also teach you my native language (Spanish) or English.

Photography.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am easy going. I am always willing to talk or share a cup of coffee. I play music and sing. I take photographs. I love chilling with music or a movie. I can cook some food from my country or share some Argentinian "mates".
