ABOUT ME

Originally I am from the West coast of Canada, but I grew up in Asia. I've been bouncing back and fourth between North America and South East Asia my whole life...The last 7 years I’ve lived in Toronto, Canada. I currently work in Communications in the Non-Profit/Environment sector.

My partner Rohit and I have been living together for the past 3 years and have had many adventures together, traveling to India, Colombia, Arizona and British Colombia.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to be positive, and appreciate your life for what it is now. You don't discover yourself, you create yourself: Sitting around deliberating about what to do with your life isn't going to get you anywhere. You gotta get off your ass and do SOMETHING NOW.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've couch surfed and hosted in South Korea; I was hosted for 41 hours during my whirlwind trip to Shanghai; a couch surfer gave me a bike tour in Copenhagen, and a group of couch surfers hosted a "Glogg Party" for me in Stockholm.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only had positive experiences with Couch Surfing. It has been very educational to have so many people staying with me from Europe, since, as a North American, I usually don't get a detailed perspective of European politics. Being hosted was great, since you get such a taste of local culture (literally in Sweden, where we made gingerbread/fudge/toffee and mulled wine!).

Playing the piano, singing in the shower, going for long bike rides, sustainable transit, spiritual development, drawing, painting, photography, Photoshop, film making, dancing in front of the mirror...the list goes on.

I love Director Michel Gondry's work as much as I like "Mean Girls". It depends on my mood. Generally I think my music taste leans towards folk, but I like everything except screamo.
