About Me

Hey, I’m cool to hangout but I don’t appreciate double intentions. Use Grinder or Tinder if you want to fuck.

I am Frank, grew up as a farmer but now a UX/UI designer who’s exploring the digital nomad lifestyle.

I lived in Spain, Guatemala, Vietnam, Taiwan and the Netherlands for the past year exploring the digital nomad lifestyle. In previous trips I travelled on my motorbike though Madeira, Scandinavia and the Alps. I worked and traveled by car through east Australia. I backpacked across Indonesia and Thailand.

Australia 2017/2018
This journey starts in Melbourne where I’ve stayed for two days. I’m not much a city kind of person so I went off to Tallegatta Valley to do some volunteering. After two weeks I acquired a farming job and pub job in Tocumwal. I bought a car and stayed there for three months with other backpackers. From here I visited all the nice places in the area. The river beaches, mount buffalo, mount kosciuszko, and most surrounding villages and cities. I’ve doing a long two week holiday trip through the mountains and along the coast towards Dubbo for really shitty job. I left there after a week, visited friends in Tocumwal for a few days then moved on to the pink lake, grampians and the great ocean road before I continued towards Indonesia.

Europtrip 2017
This motorbike journey started in the Netherlands on the 18th of July, I've been two days in Germany, two weeks in the Czech Republic, two weeks in Austria. Three days in Slovenia and traveled through the Alps from Austria (Großglockner), Italy (Stelvio), Switzerland (Albulapass) to Liechtenstein and finished my trip through Germany (again), France, Luxemburg, Belgium and back to the Netherlands.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is not a specific music genre I listen to, whenever I hear a good song I will download it. Good movies have action, humour, a great soundtrack and original story.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first holiday alone I climbed Pico de Las Nieves without much on me and never planned the way back. Lucky stumbled upon a road and made it possible to hitchhike the way back to Las Palmas.

Another one:
I quit my job and became a freelancer because my job wouldn’t let me work from a different country although I was already working remote for over a year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I grew up on a farm and know a thing or two. I graduated as a teaching assistant and as an engineer in the fields of design, media and technology. I’m a former gaming addict. Dutch and English is spoken fluently, also somewhat German and barely some Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation, cooking abilities, web and app design or farm related knowledge. Lots of travel stories.
