Overview
About Me
I am lover of traveling but have been in graduate school for the last 3.5 years and not able to travel as easily. I love food either making delicious meals at home or at authentic local restaurant.
I love to learn and I learn best from experiencing things and reading. I also enjoy outdoors activities to include recreational sports, hiking, and camping.
I like to dance Argentine Tango and swing dance (Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couchsurfing to meet locals wherever I travel . I love the insight that locals can provide about their city and the things to do and see there.
I recently graduated from chiropractic school and I am traveling a bit before working. Additionally, I am traveling some places to visit local doctors or to look for places I might want to live and practice.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I listen to both kinds of music, Country and Western. That was a joke for the Blues Brother's fans out there. However, I listen to most any music as long as it has a good beat and I can understand what they are saying.
Movies:
My favorite genre of movies are comedy! I also enjoy other genres from action, drama, documentary, etc.
Books:
Yes! I love reading to learn about things I have an interest in knowing more about or gain an understanding.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The hike to the top of Half Dome in Yosemite National Park was definitely amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to teach and that keeps me wanting to understand more. Experience is the best teacher and it has given me the most complete understanding. I am hopeful to share my experiences in a way that others will know it, too.
I love learning about others perspectives and how they see the world. I think we are all seeking the truth, a deeper understanding of how and why things works. So, I always try to learn something from everyone as a mentor of mine has often said, "No one is 100% wrong." We all have an aspect of the truth, so we must rely on each other to gain a greater understanding of the whole truth.
Our minds work in a way that we can't hold onto ideas that are wrong or untrue, to us. We all must reason the things we do and if we are going to learn from the experiences it must make sense. Otherwise, we are only memorizing a bunch of facts so that maybe one day we can pass a test. The experience allows for the growth and a greater understanding!
I love to share food with others, whether it is cooking or dining out somewhere. I personally like to cook Indian food.
