I am former researcher, turned sex educator. I like being active, especially to climb, hike and ski, and to watch tennis. :) I am a bit of a film nerd and I enjoy reading, leftist politics and activism, outdoor sports and all things culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

When not working, I'm usually reading, at the cinema or having a coffee or drink with friends. I tend to read quite a bit of fiction, with the works of Elena Ferrante, Ursula K Le Guin and Arundhati Roy probably being my favourites over the years. Filmwise, I enjoy classics by Kiesilowski, Tarkovsky, early Tarantino and Italian neo-realism the most.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favourite travel experiences have been doing the Abel Tasman in Aoteroa New Zealand, a remote beach party in Zanzibar and a three week hiking trip in the Rockies.

I could teach some some Polish idioms, maybe some dad jokes as well. One thing you can teach me is how to be more comfortable travelling - as almost tall guy it’s tricky. :’)
