ABOUT ME

I'm studying cultural studies and art history in Berlin! I think I'm open minded, rather easy going and always trying to experience new stuff. That's why I think the couch surfing network is such a great thing: apart from the joys and benefits of mutual hosting, one gets to know new people from different cultural backgrounds from all over the world and thereby expanding one's own horizon.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just a starter with couch surfing. I got myself an account two of years ago, but I couldn't host because of some flat difficulties and after some time - I most shamefully have to confess - I simply forgot. But now I would like to host while being in Berlin and surf when travelling!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I hope to meet new people through hosting or surfing soon.

兴趣

Music, festivals, books, museum, exhibitions and art stuff, photography, fod and cooking and of course travelling and hiking. Also I'm doing some yoga and bouldering and play a little guitar.

Movies: usually the more arty-farty ones, e.g. the Werckmeister Harmonies by Bela Tarr
Music: mainly Stoner-/Prog-/Post-Rock, a lot of electronic music or techno, a bit of Blues and Jazz
Books: interesting and sometimes rather complex novels; my favourite: "The Man without Qualities" by Robert Musil. And a lot of mere theoretical stuff, post-modern-deconstructionalist-mumbo-jumbo-style

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking in the serenity of some remote parts of New Zealand's Southern Alps or of the beautiful coastline of Sardinia. I simply love nature; put me atop a mountain, on some wild strech of coast or in a remote part of a forest and everytime I'm amazed anew. Phew, I have to get out of the city more often...

教，学，和分享

Teach: I can do some yoga, bouldering/climbing, can play the guitar and know something about Zen. I wounldn't consider myself qualified at these things but if you want some info for a start I'm glad if I can help ;) I'm pretty good drawing and at cooking though and I could help with English.

Learn: More about the things above, elaborate vegetarian dishes, any handicrafts, playing drums/bongos/cajon and the harmonica and probably a lot a more I can't think of now
