About Me
A couple of years ago, I realized that my world was incredibly small, and decided to start traveling a little bit... I kind of I haven't stopped yet. I am always keen on meeting new people, visiting new places, experiencing new cultures, something that grows up a bit more day by day. I shifted my research from Italian to world culture and literature, and started exploring Europe and United States mostly, but I hope to enlarge my world more in the Eastern way soon. I love surprises: visiting a new place and meeting new people always surprise you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's started the first time I got an own place to offer to surfers, couple of years ago; in the same period, I started surfing as well. I've got several experiences both as a surfer and as a host. Now I don't have much time to spend here but I do love to have my flat invaded by people when I can, and I am up for a drink or a chat of coure. I'm glad to share my couch and some of my time, whenever it's possibie :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many stuff to talk about! But, if you ask...
One film: Gegen die Wand by Fatih Akin
(in a never-ending list of films by Kar-Wai, Rohmer, Wenders, Antonioni, Akin, Gondrie, Linklater)
One book: The Great Gatsby by F. S. Fitzgerald
(in a never-ending list of novels by Fitzgerald, Faulkner, Barth, Roth, Kundera, Pasolini, Pavese, Murakami).
One band: Sonic Youth or Blonde Redhead. I like to listen to several kinds of music but I prefer indie and rock experimentation, noise, shoegaze, post-punk, new wave.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Playing music in a square so crowded of people I could barely see the buildings around... Undescribable. I think it was the very awesome thing I've ever done :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach italian language - I taught Italian in Italy and abroad, to children, teenagers, adults - and something about drumming.
I've been doing my best to further improve my English , even if my C1 fluency attested so far generally allows very nice conversations :)
I started learning some German while living in Berlin, but it's generally quite poor. I'd like to improve my poor French and Portuguese as well, which I mostly practiced when I happened to stay for few weeks in those countries. I like to learn some Hungarian and Russian in my free time, mostly when I'm travelling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of nice talks, mostly!
Some Italian vegetarian recipes. I'm not an expert chef but my menu is quite various.
Of course, the stuff around my place ;)
