ABOUT ME
IG: schrank_fellbach
Young professional who, after completing internships and work placements around the world, has found his new home in Jakarta, Indonesia.
What has been left from my previous nomad life is the continuous drive to travel to new countries and places.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel is the only thing you buy, that makes you richer!
The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.
If you don't like where you are, change it. You are not a tree!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After passing my first internship in Brazil, I organized a 2week-trip through Brazil's southern states. Therefore I basically joined the CS-Community... From that point on I have been using Couchsurfing for many occasions. Be it simply finding a couch in Milan, joining a hiking event in Stockholm, finding long-term friends in Zhuhai, offering my couch in Dresden, surfing a rice field cottage in Sulawesi or just asking for night life clues in Bangkok. It helps a lot and indispensable for my trips:-)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met an infinite number of people of people from the entire world... thanks to CS, these were the best experiences I ever had with aliens. Everyone treats you like a best friend or even a family member. To enjoy these benefits, you are of course requested to pass this hospitality on to others. the give and take concept at its best:-)Recommendation: 100%!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I see my whole travel history as one huge achievement (July 2019: 77 countries!)
Teach, Learn, Share
Due to my studies, I have been given the possibility to spend a long time abroad- in Brazil, China, Indonesia (2012 and since 2015) and UK to be exact.
To cut my best time of my life short, I simply want to recommend everyone to take every chance to spend more time abroad than an ordinary tourist! You will see the country from a completely different view and never be afraid of misunderstandings or problems in communication- I survived in China without speaking any Chinese word!
