About Me

Okaaaaay, my full name is Francesca-Victoria, but everyone calls me Franka.
I’m kinda the introvert type though I love going out and meeting new people.
I'm an artist for the games industry and have a broad and vivid imagination.
I’m a bit messy and scatterbrained, but I’m tidy when it come’s to other people their space/home.
I also always travel light, slowing me to travel in a more spontaneous manner which I absolutely love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In 2018 i made my first trip completely alone (to japan) I’d love to travel a lot in the future as well and of corse, meeting people and finding a place to stay is pretty important when traveling.
Sadly, I can’t host anyone yet. That’s because I still live with my parents.

Interests

Well, I love reading and drawing
But I also like culture and folklore.
I also like to do manny different sports but I’m not specialised in anything, except snorkelling maybe. In the end, I'm pretty open minded so I can be interested in almost anything and I'm open to try and learn new things.
I guess you could say I'm just interested in the human condition.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock music, but I’m the end I’m up for anything. My friends often tell that they can’t figure out what kind of music I like.

Japanese movies (most I know are from studio gibli), Disney movies (or kids movies in general), comedies, deadpool, stuff like starwars and the matrix,.... annything realy. But if the movie is really scary and at night, I might need a Disney movie to not be paranoid of every open door.

I’m kind of a bookworm, most books I read are fantasy, romance or mystery but the one book I’ll never forget is The Never Ending Story, and the book that surprised me the most is the picture of Dorian gray.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little bit how to play the piano and the guitar, I’d love to learn how to play the violin.
And bit by bit I’m learning Japanese.
I can also cook a few recipes which I could teach.
Or if you're into art/drawing I can maybe teach you a bit (or you can teach me)
I'm also good for thought experiments and the exploration of ideas through conversation.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a light traveler (only one backpack, always)
Naturally I try to accommodate as much as possible to the local culture out of respect.
I can also help around witch chores, many hands make light work after all.
Of corse I can share about the European culture or anything else I know about.
Also, I have two little sisters and two dogs, so I’m perfectly fine with pets or little children.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Croatia, Egypt, England, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Switzerland
