Hi! My name's Franka. I spend most of my time at the local university, immersing myself in my neuroscience studies. I think the brain is really kind of super cool and researching it brings me a lot of joy.

Apart from looking at brain data, I love to go climbing or bouldering whenever I can. Climbing gyms are like adult playgrounds; just pick a color you like and try to get up as high as you can. Nerding out about different movement patterns and climbing techniques is also something I spend a lot of time on.

Sometimes I also find a lil creative spirit and make a drawing, but that's not very often. I'm pretty into surrealistic charcoal art. When it comes to making live drawings, I'm not the best. But give me some pictures, a pencil, and some time alone, and I might just blow you away with a properly (sur)realistic portrait.

When I'm travelling, I like to not make a plan and just see what comes up spontaneously. Usually, this means I end up with a small group of people on some mountain somewhere. However, this summer we're switching things up. I'm hitchhiking east with 3 good friends. Our plan is to enjoy whatever way comes up when we're there. So if you're the kind of host that likes to show folks their favorite spots, that's super cool! Otherwise, we'd also be just fine exploring the city ourselves, by just being the expert hippies that we are.
