About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoying as much as I can by means of playing guitar, singing, meeting with friends, attending concerts. Also I work full-time.

ABOUT ME

I am 30 years old and I work full-time. I have studied abroad in Glasgow, Scotland, which was a truly great time. I love making new friends abroad. My friends would describe me as curious, outgoing, open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet interesting new people from abroad, to be inspired by them, maybe inspire them, and have plenty of laughs!

Interests

Music is my biggest passion. I play guitar and I sing. I love going to concerts and music festivals such as Lowlands and Rock Werchter. Although I haven't traveled much yet (apart from a road trip in the USA and some shorter trips in Europe) I have plans to travel in the future. I would like to travel to South America and also learn Spanish there.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music! I wouldn't know where to start! Let's say I particularly like Radiohead, Foo Fighters, The Beatles, Peter Gabriel. And a lot more.

When it comes to movies I am more of the arthouse kind of person. I am a Tarantino fan. Also I don't being a massive nerd by watching Star Trek. I don't really watch television - I prefer choosing what I see myself.

About books; I prefer reading history books and other types of non-fiction, such as autobiographies and books inspired by (social) science. I am a fond reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My time abroad in Glasgow, Scotland and all the amazing, exciting new people I met there.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play guitar and how to speak Dutch.

Most importantly I would like to learn from you how you see the world, and what your opinion is on various topics (politics, the world, the bigger picture, you name it). I would also like to learn Spanish and Italian (I speak a tiny bit of Italian).

I would like to share views, opinions, and last but certainly not least - jokes and funny stories!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
