I'm an ecologist who likes to work with endangered wildlife around the world. When I'm not travelling or working outside the UK I live on the south coast of England in a place called Poole - great in summer, not so great in winter..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling a lot and will be in Central America soon. My main priorities are meeting local people and exploring national parks so I can see new flora and fauna.

There is a small patch of forest named after me in Mauritius after I discovered it whilst getting lost searching for a bird.

I can share all sorts of fun stories. I've been lucky to experience many places and collected many stories from around the world.
I can also teach hosts English drinking games I learnt mainly from uni times.
