ABOUT ME
I just graduated with an Associates in Application and Web Development. I am returning to school in August to continue pursuit of my Bachelor's in Anthropology.
My husband currently travels for work and we hope to meet lots of new people as we meet up in foreign countries for vacations!
PHILOSOPHY
"Pain is inevitable. Suffering is optional."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My goal here is to explore local attractions with people who are familiar with the region we are traveling in. Share a cup of java, glass of tea, or tall frosty beer with someone who wants to check out the fun stuff.
For anyone traveling to my area, I am more than happy to show you around and visit local attractions!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was in a band a while back and often we would go to out of town gigs and more often than not, the whole band would crash at someone's house for the night. Affording a hotel for all (or any) of us was just out of the question for a troupe like ours.
We would play our show, hang out at the bar, go to the friendly fans home and the next day they would take us to the most awesome places for breakfast, every time, without fail.
I love meeting new people and enjoy experiencing a town based on the experience of someone who lives there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: EVERYTHING.
Well almost. I don't particularly care for the "Hostel/SAW/shock, blood and gore with no plot" genre
Music: Everything. (again)
I know, cheesy, but what can I say, I love Pandora radio!! Plug in one artist and learn about 5 more you didn't know existed. It's great!
Books:
Awakening by Kate Chopin
Stephen King, Peter Straub, old school Anne Rice and a lot of non-fiction
