Interests

I volunteer at community gardens and help out on my boyfriend's farm. I enjoy cooking and make a great pound cake. I'm learning Spanish, but it's nothing to brag about yet!

Music: Country, contemporary Christian, pop, and just a little bit of bluegrass

Books: Anything! Love historical fiction, sci-fi, and some of the classics

Movies: Faves include Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Wars, Moulin Rouge, Phantom of the Opera, and the Lion King

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking the Inca Trail up to Machu Picchu. The views from the Andes are amazing! Going to a service in St. Paul's Cathedral. Seeing the Grand Canyon. Flying over the Nazca Lines.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about most of the native trees of North Carolina (names, how to identify them, traditional uses, etc.). I know the songs to most musicals. My specialties include "The Sound of Music", "Wicked", "Phantom of the Opera", and "My Fair Lady".
