Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Joined in august 2012. Hosted many lovely people from all over the globe. Would be nice if you are from a country that's not on the list yet. But no worries, no need to move to another country to get to my couch...although...maybe a good idea after all...;)

Interests

Music and movielover. I do a bit of photography, take out my kayak and paddle the canals or Amstel-river. I like a drink (or two - so be prepared that we might have endless talks over a bottle (or two) of whatever drink is available) and people, interesting species after all.

Ah yeah, got to tell you this: if you think that Amsterdam is only about red lights and smoking weed and that is your reason to come...all good, I am happy that you make your dreams come true. Just don't request me.
Had to call an ambulance once for dumb couchies who took stuff they couldn't handle. All fine. Just not in my house.

Being born and survive till today.
Two months Australia trip...no need to explain.
Touching Elvis his grave...He’s the man.
Flying over the Great Barrier Reef in a helicopter.
Visiting Auschwitz-Birkenau in Poland (Tough stuff)
Driving two Aston Martin's for a day with a friend who won a James Bond Experience...awesome that was.
Staying on Sanblas Islands in Panama (Paradise!)
Snorkling in the Maldives.
Watching whales and dolphins in Panama.
Driving Highway nr 1 in California in a Ford Mustang convertible.

I am not in the teachingbusiness. Lets just have a good time, thats what it is about. Trust, friendship, freedom and openness. And good food. Love food. Gotta eat anyway so better eat tasty.

(And dont complain if you end up with a pathetic moron who has only one bed where you have to sleep next to him naked and 200 teddybears from his collection staring at you - read profiles, know where you go :-)
