About Me

I'm a 21 year old guy, just graduated from University. I studied Political Science but focused more on Anthropological aspects of life in the Colombian Caribbean.
I like Martial Arts (I'm a blue belt in Karate-do Shotokan - it's a long way to go but I keep training!).
Books are like treasures to me, so I have a lot and keep them well guarded from the hazards of nature.
I love football, even though I'm not that good at it.
And I guess I spend a big part of my time thinking on who I am.

Interests

I love learning. Anything I can learn is welcome, but martial arts and Caribbeam history are two passions I have.
The study of hallucinogenic plants and their uses by indigenous communities also interests me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can ride a bike while thinking on the intricacies of land tenure and land structure in Colombian Caribbean during the late 1800's.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm fairly good at Karate-do Shotokan, and I think I can teach one or two things about it.
My academical background gives me a wide range of knowledge regarding Anthropology, Political Theory and Colombian Caribbean History, especially the Zona Bananera subregion, in Magdalena, and the Montes de María subregion, in Bolívar.
Dancing comes easy, especially Salsa, but my crossover costeño mind can dance anything.
Some people say I'm the most costeño person they've ever known. I guess I can share a few things on culture, vocabulary (you might be wondering what mondá is), music, and the existential problems that make our lives so complicated.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good talks on politics and life. Also fun politically incorrect jokes.
