Tall, handy, avuncular...was teaching in Korea for six years, after having had a pretzel business and a game/comic store just a few years prior.

Most recently I've been teaching college courses at the local prison, but bureaucracy just shut it down in my area.

Right now, I'm traveling to Finland. My mother's side is Finish (Ollila and Maki) and I grew up in a small "location" called Suomi. We even had a Finnish language TV show up until recently, the only one in the US.

Interessen

I love trying cheap eats, and exploring by wandering around. I love nature and cities, music and food in the later particularly, but even some shopping for oddities. Playing cards and games is another strong passion.

Oh...this is always so hard.

I do love swing and rock-a-billy music to listen and dance to, but I like almost any music, particularly if I'm seeing it live.

I like old films, particularly in the noir genre (Cry Danger). Documentaries about quirky subjects (The King of Kong).
