One of my biggest dreams is to visit Japan 🇯🇵 — to live the experience of traditional Japan, work in a rice field 🌾, pick tea leaves 🍃, explore martial arts 🥋, calligraphy ✍️, and the art of tea 🍵 :)

So, who am I? I'm currently studying psychology 🧠 in a small town called Saguenay, in the province of Quebec, Canada 🇨🇦.

I decided to go back to school at 28 to become a psychologist, and during my studies, I made a life-changing decision: I started traveling 🌍.

I’m full of energy ⚡, curious about people 🤝, and I love connecting with new faces 😊. I’m kind, open-minded 🌈, and I’ve got a good sense of humor 😂 (or so they say!). Always smiling 😄, always up for something fun 🎉.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love discovering new places through the eyes of locals 🧭 — not just seeing the sights, but feeling the rhythm of a place, meeting real people, and sharing stories 💬.

Solo travel is great, but what makes it truly magical for me is the people I meet along the way 🤗. That’s where the real memories are made. I’m always ready for an adventure 🚀, always have something to say 🗣️, and always curious about life 🌱.

Of course, I try to keep my travels budget-friendly 💸 — traveling can get expensive! But that doesn’t stop me from fully enjoying every moment. I’m naturally generous and love giving to others when I can ❤️.

One thing I’ve come to really appreciate is gently teaching people how to receive — how to simply say “thank you” when someone offers something, especially for those who aren’t used to being on the receiving end 🙏. I believe generosity doesn’t always have to cost money. There’s something beautiful in helping others feel comfortable accepting kindness 🌟.

Interests

I'm into adventure 🧗, camping ⛺, hiking 🥾, beach days 🏖️, scuba diving 🤿, fishing 🎣, hunting 🦌, and pretty much any kind of game 🎲 — board games, card games, party games, you name it!

I’m a huge foodie 🍽️! I love tasting new dishes, cooking 👨‍🍳, and discovering local flavors 🌮. I enjoy visiting city markets 🧺, street festivals 🎪, and spending time outdoors 🌳.

Give me a game night, a shared dinner 🍕, or a cozy movie evening 🎬 with laughter and good company — I’ll be happy. I even travel with a few games in my bag 🎒, just in case!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2022, I spent a semester studying in Nice, France 🇫🇷. After that, I continued my travels through Spain 🇪🇸, Italy 🇮🇹, Sardinia, and Switzerland 🇨🇭. It was my very first trip — and it lasted 8 months! I made lifelong friends 👫 and had unforgettable adventures 🌄. Some people thought I might never come back to Canada haha 😄

Fun fact: it was with a Couchsurfer that I tried scuba diving for the first time — and fell in love with it 🤿💙

In 2024, I went back to France for a friend's wedding 💍 on the Côte d’Azur and stayed two more months. I even got to hike with a charity group, Baroudeurs de l’Espoir, who support children in Lebanon 🇱🇧. We climbed the Vignemale (3000m!) 🏔️ in the Pyrenees — one of the most incredible experiences of my life ✨.

This summer 2025, I’ll be heading to Australia 🇦🇺 for a 3-month Working Holiday — and I’d love for you to be a part of that journey too! 💫
