About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying life any way I can!
ABOUT ME
I've moved back to NZ after living in South Korea and travelling for about 3 years. I enjoy frolicking in water, and I'm keen to learn to surf right now! I like having a laugh with people and chatting about most things. I enjoy a drink and anything involving being in the sun and nature. Inventing games, walking and delighting in the little things all make me happy. I live with my partner and together we live a modest but cheerful life.
PHILOSOPHY
something along the lines of being helpful to people is good for you and your society. Some days I'm not as true to that as I should be, but mostly I try to be!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Probably mostly through hosting right now, our flat is quite small tho so am interested in just meeting up with people to do things if that suits.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have hosted a few people with my partner Rebekah, I'm a bit lazy on the internet so most references can be seen if you click through to her profile :) Everytime we learn something different and generally have a great time.
Interests
geology, water sports, camping, politics (please note i don't like to get angry about it, I'm just interested in different viewpoints and where they stem from), history of anywhere, rugby, going to plays (not that I do it anywhere near enough!)

Music, Movies, and Books
not a big movie watcher for the most part, but I enjoy b grade horrors, bruce willis movies and comedies. Music i like is rock, some reggae, and anything cheerful (but not poppy). Books, hmmm, I go through phases.. David Sedaris, Shakespeare (better acted of course!), nz geology books, Janet Frame, and any book that makes you think.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Moving to South Korea to live for 2 years was pretty awesome and I learnt a lot over there. Diving at night was spectacular, the darkness is so much more intense, and getting to see all the tiny little creatures that come out at night was such an eye opener. It was a whole different world to diving in daylight.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always happy to share anything i know. What that will be typically depends on what I've learnt just before I meet you!
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, India, Japan, Morocco, Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Viet Nam
Countries I’ve Lived In
