About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission objective is to spread the word of couchsurfing to all those who are unaware of such a wonderful idea!

ABOUT ME

Traveling has become a passion starting in 2008. I don't get to travel all the time but when an opportunity presents itself I jump on it. I have been many places but my favorite trip was walking across the US in 2010. The summer of 2014 I traveled with a company called PEAK Adventure Travel as a tour guide. I gave people from other countries road trips of the US. I criss crossed this beautiful country of ours camping and exploring all the way.

I am currently residing in Niceville, Florida for the time being in a small meadow thats a 5 minute walk away from the water and a ten minute drive to beautiful beaches in Destin.

On my walking journey from the Pacific to the Atlantic one of the main highlights was utilizing couch surfing. It has opened my eyes up to a whole new community of caring people. I feel much more confident in travel now knowing there are people out there willing to meet me and get to know me. I will be a couch curfer for life and cannot wait to get back out into the world to travel!

PHILOSOPHY

Treat others how you would like to be treated; love and be loved.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am spreading the word about couch surfing and the impact it has had on my life. I am telling people of the generosity that has been shown to me and hope that one day I can host couch surfers my self and pass on the fun and generosity!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been fortunate to encounter the best host couch surfing has to offer on my travels. I have currently stayed with 25 couch surfing hosts. I have hosted a few times and loved that experience as well. It is the other side of surfing and is such a gratifying experience I love writing and receiving references as well. I plan on using couch surfing throughout my travels and continue when I am done with this trip. I can honestly say it changed my life!

Interests

Being a "thing maker". Its more interesting than being an artist(bah, I hate that word, artist)I have been fortunate to see the US in a way most people have not; by walking across it.
