I am a student of biology and chemistry from germany. I love to to travel and for that reason I'm on the road as much as possible, as for right now I'm doing an 8 months trip through south america. I consider myself a very happy person and I'm not easily stressed. My philosophy in life is always make the best out of what you have and be nice to other people because after all life's to short to waste it with senseless fights or complaining about circumstances (reading through that again I find I sound somewhat like a hippie, but don't worry I don't dress myself that badly 😁)
Also I'm always eager to learn some new things and happy to share the little knownledge I have with people who share that attitude :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find couchsurfing is a great opportunity to meet and connect with people from different parts of the world. It's a big and beautiful planet and I want to meet as many different people living in it as possible :)
Also I am a low budget backpacker so to hold up honesty I guess I should mention that as well 😄

Interests

My biggest interest and hobby is to play and listen to music. I'm playing the guitar and the piano (although not nearly as good as the guitar 😄) and I love singing. I don't really have a favorite kind of music, I enjoy everything from classical over jazz to thrash metal as long as it's well made. In the rest of my time I like doing sports, especially Basketball, scuba diving or hiking in the mountains. Also I enjoy just hanging out with some friends in a pub in the evening. Last but not least I'm a great lover of science and I like to discuss it with other people who share that interest, always eager to learn something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I slept on an old world war two bunker at the channel, to exchange it for a dead train in nantes in the following night (details when we meet up 😉)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you something about music, science or cooking and I would be very happy if you could show me some new stuff in these fields as well. When it comes to sharing I'm hosting under the presumption "mi casa es tu casa" so I'm very open on that point although as I have mentioned above I'm not home a lot :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm usually always in a good mood and up for anything that sounds like fun. Also if your interested in music we can have a little jam session since I always take my guitar travelling.
Besides that I consider myself a decent cook 😄
