ABOUT ME

We are a German/American couple that met in 2012 in Franz's hometown in Germany during Amanda's study abroad semester. Since then, we've lived in Lithuania, and the Netherlands together and just moved to Amanda's hometown in Dallas. Franz just finished his Master coursework and Amanda is excited to be back close to family. We're still "new" here and trying to fit back into the American lifestyle, so we jump at any opportunity to meet travelers, temporary residents, or locals!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This is a great way to meet like-minded people and we've always had great experiences attending couchsurfing meetings.

Interests

Together, we both love traveling and meeting new people. We're lucky enough to get to live in different countries every year so, of course, learning about new cultures is something we also really enjoy. We love riding bikes, taking long walks and exploring, meeting up with friends, trying out new bars and restaurants, and when we're feeling lazy...binge watching our favorite tv shows.
